At Virtual Office Solutions we have a ‘select’ team of professional, experienced typists. All our typists are Irish-based typists, have a minimum of 80-100 words per minute typing speed along with advanced MS Word skills. All of our legal typists have had previous experience in legal offices.

Bernie McCullough
Managing Director/Proprietor
Bernie McCullough is the Proprietor and Managing Director of Virtual Office Solutions. Bernie McCullough holds a Certificate in Marketing with the Marketing Institute of Ireland (M.I.I.) and a J.E.B. Teacher’s Diploma in I.T.
Bernie has extensive experience in the Retail, Corporate, Building, Health & Safety and Aviation industries having undertaken a myriad of responsibilities under her roles as Office Manager / PA to Managing Directors / Purchases Controller, etc.
Bernie possesses extensive IT skills across a broad range of software and is a qualified IT instructor. From humble beginnings, Bernie started the business as a sole trader back in 1997 trading under the name of ‘The Quick~Type Bureau’. Over the next number of years, the business has grown from strength to strength, and in December 2014 became a limited company, now trading as Virtual Office Solutions. Stephanie Tierney
Head of Legal Transcription
Stephanie Tierney is the Head of Legal Transcription at Virtual Office Solutions.
Stephanie has over 30 years of legal experience. She previously worked in two of the largest Solicitor firms in the Country. She also has 20 years’ experience working for a Barrister with a very busy practice. She has extensive experience in digital transcription and the preparing of legal documents across all areas of law, in particular Litigation and Commercial.
At Virtual Office Solutions Stephanie is in charge of the team management, transcription and delivery of all Legal Transcription workflow in a timely manner.
At VOS Stephanie manages and works with an experienced team of legal typists who specialise in the typing of all legal and court documents.
All transcriptions are completed to an extremely high standard and are delivered directly back to each client’s in-box in a timely manner.
Tracy Kirkby
Head of Building & General Transcription
Tracy Kirkby is Head of Building & General Transcription at Virtual Office Solutions.
Tracy worked for a large international firm of Solicitors in the UK for 14 years, during which time she covered areas such as Probate, Insurance Litigation, Marine, Family and Employment. Tracy is now resident in Co. Cork where she lives with her family and is a highly experienced audio typist with an eclectic wealth of work experience.
At Virtual Office Solutions Tracy in charge of the team management, transcription and delivery of all Building and General Transcription (non-legal) workflow in a timely manner.
At VOS Tracy manages and works with an experienced team of typists who specialise in the typing of documents in the Building Sector (Building Survey Reports, Schedules of Condition, Schedules of Dilapidation, Snag Lists, Letter type reports, etc.).
In addition to this Tracy manages the timely transcription of financial reports, psychiatric assessment reports, medical reports, medico-legal reports, legal cost accounting reports, forensic investigation reports, valuation reports, along with general letter and memo correspondences, etc.
All transcriptions are completed to an extremely high standard and are delivered directly back to each client’s in-box in a timely manner.
